Umfors is designed by designer Malin Lundmark. The fixture is a tribute to a village in the Swedish Lapland mountains that is very close to Malin's heart. A village where the Umeälven originates, where the mountains surround Lake Över-Uman and where the jocks sing. "When I'm there, I become one with nature and time stands still," says Malin. The lamp is made from a mixture consisting of sandstone and polyresin, which gives it a lively character. The round translucent shape symbolizes the ice in Umfors, which often becomes 1 meter thick in winter, and the lower part symbolizes the mountains. The lamp is IP44-classified, which means that it can withstand water splashes and is tight against larger particles such as grains of sand. Therefore, it is well suited outdoors and provides a nice mood lighting with its candle. Light source not included.
