Coral pendant lamp in bamboo - natural look, made in New Zealand The Coral pendant lamp consists of numerous individual bamboo veneer elements which, when put together, create a wonderful lampshade. The delivery is made in single parts, a detailed assembly instruction is enclosed. This is done deliberately with regard to small transport dimensions in flat packs, which only make up 3 % of the volume of the assembled light. In this way, the ecological footprint is deliberately kept small. David Trubridge, the designer of this beautiful piece, was originally a shipbuilder. In 1981, he sold all his possessions, bought a sailing yacht and travelled with his family through the Caribbean to the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand. Inspired by his experiences and encounters on his travels, he began designing furniture. His objects express his way of looking at nature and his search for original materials that reflect the simplicity of human existence. In 2001, David Trubridge presented the Body Raft
