PREIS Sea Salt is the fruit of years of salt water research of the company Preis Aquaristik. It has a high calcium content usable by sea water creatures. This will enhance the growth and development of invertebrates and corals visibly. With more than 70 trace elements and water-soluable vitamins, aquarium water prepared with PREIS Sea Salt can only be distinguished from natural sea water by the fact that it has been adapted to aquarium conditions.In comparison to a natural environment, aquariums contain a variety of different creatures in a relatively small quantity of water. The sea water creatures in our aquariums use, however, the same amounts of trace elements and minerals as they absorb in the sea where these components are constantly being replaced. As a result, there is a constant decrease in essential substances and an increase of unnecessary ones. This unfavorable development can be prevented by adding a greater amount of trace elements and minerals.
