Basé sur une nouvelle de Haruki Murakami, ce film sud-coréen acclamé par la critique raconte l'histoire de Jong-soo, un travailleur à temps partiel qui rencontre par hasard sa vieille voisine Hae-mi. Elle lui demande de s'occuper de son chat pendant qu'elle est en voyage au Kenya, mais à son retour, Hae-mi présente Ben (STEVEN YEUN) à Jong-soo.
