Scent creator Richard E. Grant drew inspiration from his childhood memories of a family visit to the UK: "In May 1969, I was 12 years old and flew from Swaziland to London on a trip with my parents. Emerging from Piccadilly Circus tube station, I was wide eyed in wonderment seeing the Eros statue and fountain, whose steps were people-crammed with Patchouli perfumed hippies. The combination of Patchouli oil and petrol from all the traffic, proved an indelible inhalation! Earl Grey Tea at Fortnum and Mason on Piccadilly with its Bergamot base and those well worn leather chairs dotted around the beautiful department store, proved to be a scent complimentary mix. I have bottled these heady memories combining Patchouli, Bergamot, Petrol, Ginger and Leather into JACK-PICCADILLY69".
