Consider the lamp as a primary light source and not just for decoration. Never leave the lamp unattended and keep it out of the reach of children and pets. Kerosene lamps were the most common variety of lamp in Sweden in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Our kerosene lamps are produced for the purpose of adding light sources in places where there is no electricity, such as small boats, cabins, and balconies/gardens. However, they are also pretty to have on the kitchen table for a cozy feeling. Kerosene lamps are also useful in times of power outage as they allow very strong light.
