The earth collection showcases a primitive style that links past and present. The curved, soft lines break with our very strict, linear everyday environments. Marie michielssen has a preference for materials that she can mould by hand. She allows herself to be guided by her intuition, to give shape to items with an atypical and poetic look. Marie michielssens successful earth series, made of that special material, papier mâché, was extended with a number of bowls, vases and pots in off-white and natural brown. Material: paper mache. Many of our designs are finished by hand, this may lead to irregularities and is considered a part of the uniqueness of each piece.
