The fine puffin in painted beech from Kay Bojesen Denmark is designed by Kay Bojesen. The bird is known in Danish as "Sea Parrot" because of its colorful beak. The puffin is the most popular "forgotten design" made by Kay Bojesen in 1954 but has now been brought back to life. The puffin, unlike most animals in the family Bojesen has a body in black and white and a colorful beak with grooves and stripes. Kay Bojesen drew this detail along with the era's great theater decorator Svend Rasmussen. This is a classic Danish product for both children and those who are interested in Scandinavian design. Material: Hand Painted on Beech Dimensions: Height 19.5cm, Width 13.5cm, Depth 12.5cm
