Modern airpads combine great comfort with temperature-specific insulation. As this model has pretty much no insulation and is made purely for summer use, it boasts a very compact packing size and low weight. The generous thickness helps with comfort: you won't want to fill the pad too much. It's a good idea to invest a bit of time to find a comfortable level of inflation. We highly recommend inflating the pad with the included pumpsack, as this minimizes the amount of moisture the pad takes in.
