Our 18ct Gold Plate Cowrie Shell Necklace is part of our unique Tidal Collection. The necklace is minimalistic with an organically shaped cowrie pendant. The cowrie shell has an incredible history, it has been used as a form of currency in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. In Nepal and India, it represents wealth and womanhood and used in certain ceremonies to worship the Goddess Laxmi. Our necklace is inspired by a Cowrie shell found on a sandy beach from Tulum, Mexico.
