My First ABC - Edward Underwood This book by Edward Underwood takes the format of some of his previous books: 100 First Words and 100 First Words: City  but this time in the form of an ABC. The board book has hidden flaps on each page which, when lifted, reveal another image and word beneath. For example there is a frog hidden beneath an image of a flower and a moth behind the moon. Edward's illustrations are ideally suited to this format - he manages to inject character into all of the things that he illustrates, even those as prosaic as a mop.
