Fantastic sharpening stones specially designed for Secateurs, but also great for Shears, Topiary Clippers and other sharp stuff. The concave edge follows the curve of the blade perfectly, and they're small enough to get into tight spots. These are what Tobisho recommend for their tools, and what Jake now uses for his secateurs. The golden rule is to soak thoroughly each time before use. And not to drop them. Grey #220 grit: coarse, for grinding out rough and damaged blades Brown #1000 grit: fine, for regular sharpening Sand #3000 grit, super fine, for honing and detailed work on high quality steel For Secateurs: Soak stones in water for 5 minutes before use, and keep wet during use. We strongly advise NOT taking your secateurs apart - they never go back together quite the same. Instead, using the concave edge, work from above, as in the images on our website. Move from the pivot towards the tip of the blade, following the curve as you go. Then back again - back and forth alon
