Since the Autumn/Winter 2022 fashion show, the varsity jacket has become one of the fundamental pillars of Nigo's wardrobe. This piece is set apart by its 'KENZO Pop' graphic, embroidered on the chest, in which the Boke Flower is reinterpreted in an aesthetic that fuses Japanese design with pop art. Inspired by the 1980s, this jacket features vintage details such as two-tone ribbed cuffs and a contrasting collar. The back of the piece features a bouclette patch signed 'KENZO Paris', accompanied by the '18 rue Vivienne' address embroidered in chain stitch. The 'KENZO Pop' embroidered varsity bomber is a genderless design. It's made from heavy round brushed molleton and features two front pockets. The jacket also has 'KENZO Paris' branded snap buttons and stripes ribs on the collar and cuffs. Bouclette patches are used for the 'Kenzo Pop' at the crest and the 'KENZO Paris' on the back. Embroideries are also found on the front pocket and above the rib on the back.
