The besseggen down jacket is made from recycled and responsibly sourced materials. Padded with rds-certified down, this mid-length jacket has been designed with 10k/10k waterproof dwr finishing. Soft and breathable, and features both stick-in pockets and two large patch pockets at the front for storing valuables. All the down we use in our collections is from the Responsible down standard, to ensure animal welfare from farm to supplier. This standard includes that the animals are not exposed to pain, injury, fear or distress. They are raised free from hunger and thirst and are not being overfed, and the feathers are not picked from living birds.
