The Pöyrisjärvi wilderness area is ideal for both day hikers and experienced hikers. The marked routes are concentrated between Heta and Näkkäläjärvi. Elsewhere in the fell, there are unmarked trails, or you can hike according to your own preferences off trail. A comprehensive route has been planned for mountain bikers. Of the rivers flowing through the wilderness, the Pöyrisjoki is demanding and also contains non-billable rapids. Käkkälöjoki is also suitable for paddlers starting their hobby. We use laser scanning data in our maps, which makes the terrain data with elevation curves more accurate than before. Our map is printed on Tyvek material, which is waterproof and tear-resistant. Thanks to the ingenious distribution of newspapers, all the most important Excursion Destinations in the area fit on one map.
