With the familiar round head and long body reminiscent of vintage Wiinblad pieces, plus decorative floral relief details and rosy cheeks, this vase is a superb contemporary interpretation of Scandinavian folk art - a throw-back to Wiinblad's original work. Using the artist's own drawings for the gentle facial features and even the pattern on the dress design, there is an authenticity and a nostalgia about these beautiful porcelain pieces which makes them so very likeable.
