In the event of an attempt of force attack on the safe or after 3 incorrect PIN entries, the alarm will sound for 1 minute, stoppable by entering the correct PIN or using a key to open the safe. If 2 more consecutive PIN entries follow, the alarm will sound for 1 minute, and the keypad will be locked down for 3 minutes, also stoppable by using a key.
