This finely woven Sisal basket is made using a restricted colour palette and all natural dyes using traditional techniques, unique to the rural area of Kasigau. A beautiful part of Kenya blooming with baobab trees, cattle and red sand paths, all dotted around the impressive, flat topped Mt Kasigau. The sale of our baskets encourages the craft of basket weaving to continue being handed down from generation to generation and provides an alternative to poaching and farming during drought. Our XXS baskets are perfect for storing trinkets, jewellery and change.
