Illustrated throughout with scraper board drawings by the author. 1951 Country Book Club Edition. Green cloth covered boards with gilt titling to spine. No previous owner's name or inscription. Light toning to pages commensurate with age. Very slight, but just discernible foxing to the top of the page block, but this has not spread to the interior of the book. A clean and unmarked copy, still tightly bound. Very good dust jacket with a little chipping to the top of the back panel and a tiny area of loss to the head of the spine. The top edge of the inside of the jacket has been reinforced with white tape.
