Stunning Sycamore one piece chopping boards made from solid Welsh sycamore that has dried and beautifully finished. Sycamore is the traditional wood used in butchers blocks due to its hardness and extremely fine pores. The average size of these boards are 450mm x 260mm x 25mm (live edge means this size can vary slightly throughout). I can have chopping boards made to any size though so please message for commissions or information No Fancy chemicals or oils are needed to maintain these boards which have be pre-oiled. The stunning grain from the sycamore is revealed simply by rubbing in Olive Oil or food grade mineral oil, making the boards totally food safe and easy for you re-finish and bring back to life after many uses All boards are supplied with small rubber feet on the bottom that help to prevent the board from slipping.
