The ETHSW801 is a very compact and robust Industrial Ethernet switch with 8 x 10/100BaseT(X). 10BaseT according to IEEE 802.3, 100BaseTX according to IEEE802.3u and Flow Control (Ethernet data flow control) according to IEEE802.3x are supported. The compact enclosure, certified to IP30 degree of protection, has been designed for use in harsh and demanding industrial environments where large temperature differences and physical loads are not unknown.The ETHSW801 is an unmanaged and plug and play capable switch with a non-blocking/wire-respected Layer 2 switching engine. Safe transfer is ensured by the execution in the operating mode Store and Forward. The optional function Flooding StormControl protects against unwanted allocation of the available transmission rate through Broad or Multicast data frames.The switch has a redundant voltage input and a fault signaling relay for signaling a fault. This ensures trouble-free operation and direct fault detection in the event of a power supply
