The earthen wear container has a wide funnel for storing salt for cooking . The container is covered in a blue slip glaze. This is great for using and storing in the kitchen. The thickness of the ceramic will keep the salt cool. It has a handle for carrying, or pouring. It is quite solid and heavy but on the whole in very good condition. There are 3 blemishes at the back and right side, which are hardly noticeable. A lovely, quirky piece of vintage ceramic in solid form. The container is 23cm in height and the diameter of the funnel is 12cm.
