Vintage ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY 1950s Bonnet Mascot (hood ornament) Sphinx Hurricane This highly collectable bonnet mascot would have been attached the 1950's model of the Hurricane from British car manufacturers ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY. This bonnet mascot is in excellent original condition considering it's age with only very slight scratches and pitting. Please see photos for more details. The bonnet mountings are in very good order and it includes the original nuts for attaching to your vintage car project. This highly decorative item could also be mounted to a base to take pride of place in your collection. The ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY Hurricane was a British drophead coupé produced from 1945 to 1953. It was based on the ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY Lancaster saloon and was one of the first post-war cars released by the company.
