The kit has an alternative build - the Sidewinder. The Sidewinder launches propellers an angle and makes handheld use easier. It also shows there's more than one way the pieces can be combined. The kit contains 83 pieces which snap together for easy construction and deconstruction. These are compatible with VEX IQ kits, where they can be used as additional parts to create new robots. It's a fun and creative toy that gives a hands-on education with STEM-based construction. All pieces are included, still in their sealed bags.
