Tope edge gilt. With colored plates and nineteen black and white drawings. Following the story is a single leaf of ads followed by the publisher's 16 page catalogue, dated 6G-10.97. Inspired by childhood favorites, when Puss-in-Boots (now Lord Pussee Cattums) challenges the hierarchy in the fairy kingdom it sets off a series of fantastical events, and two young fairies, Tuppy and Tue, set out to discover is fairy power still holds sway over the mortal world. Poor to Fair condition. Two of the colour plates are missing. One of the two colour illustrations that are present is detached. P15 is also detached.
