The interior is made of black chipboard. The legs are made of metal with a black coating. Ash is a slightly soft wood with a straight grain. Treated ash wood is strong and durable, but untreated ash wood can move a lot and yellow quickly. Sanded ash provides a clean, smooth appearance.
