The design language of the Tudor Royal is a perfectly realised re-interpretation of vintage chic with modern elements, such as the automatic movement with 38-hour power reserve. The crenelated bezel, featuring alternating cut grooves and high polish finishing, and integrated bracelet are very reminiscent of the Rolex OysterQuartz from the 1970s, Rolex of course being the parent brand behind Tudor. Furthermore, the ‘5-link’ design of the bracelet was first introduced by Tudor in 1973 and has been reprised for the new collection to add that extra level of vintage authenticity.
