Birds by Toikka are individually handmade from mouth blown glass. Each bird is unique and has its own personality. Designed by Oiva Toikka the collection of birds was started over 35 years ago and new designs are added each year. Many of the older designs are now sought after by collectors from all over the world. The Summer Grouse glows with a vibrant gold colour with a pattern of feathers in shades of brown which look as though they have been drawn with a calligrapher's ink. A highlight for display on a desk, shelf or in a cabinet this bird looks beautiful alone or with others from the collection.
