This Japanese Wisteria Floribunda ‘Domino’ makes a worthy choice for sunny walls and fences. The fragrant, lilac-blue, pea-like flowers are borne in short racemes of around 20cm (8”) long in May and June. During the summer months, the woody, clockwise-twining stems are cloaked in attractive pinnate foliage. Flowering profusely from a young-age, Wisteria Floribunda ‘Domino’ is reliable and showy, earning it a prestigious RHS AGM. Grow Japanese Wisteria Floribunda ‘Domino’ plants in a sunny or semi-shaded site in any moist, well-drained soil. Wisteria flower bud can be damaged by hard spring frosts, so choose a sheltered position. Prior to planting, add plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost to the soil.
