Perfect for planting at the front of herbaceous borders due to its compact and dense habit. From early summer you will see clusters of fluffy pink flowers on slender stems. At around 50cm tall, these will create a stunning hazy effect, and are also brilliant for attracting pollinating insects. When planting your Thalictrum, choose a position in semi shade or dappled on reliably moist, well-drained, fertile soil.Work some compost or general fertiliser into the top 20cm of the soil when planting. Taller speciesmay need support to protect their flowering stems. Feed and water Thalictrum plants regularly until fully established. In autumn, remove old foliage and faded Thalictrum flower stems to ground level. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes. Product Specifications: Hardy Perennial Position: borders and wildlife gardens Height: Up to 50cm (20in) when fully established Spread: Up to 25cm (10in) when fully established Supplied as Thalictrum ‘Little Pinkie’ (Meadow Rue) 9cm pot x 3
