This is a fabulously colourful Gladioli plant which has Deep Red petals fading to black, and looks amazingly impressive in garden borders and patio pots. It will also look quite fabulous in a vase or in a floral arrangement. Plant your Gladioli bulbs in moisture rich soil, in a sunny position. In autumn, when the stems and leaves have died back, you should be able to lift the corms and store in time for winter. If not lifting the corms, they can be left in the ground, but you are advised to place dry mulch of bark chips or leaf mould in autumn to protect the corms from wet weather.
