Strawberry Anais has a beautiful, sweet aromatic. These fruits have a flavoursome taste but not normally seen in the supermarket as they have thin skins, making them not suitable for commercial packing. This variety can produce up to 1. 2kg of fruit. This variety produces unusual, orange-coloured fruits. Height: 20cm (8”). Spread: 30cm (12”). Estimated time to cropping once planted 4-8 Months. Estimated time to best yields: 16-20 Months. Culinary Note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. Plant strawberry plants in autumn or late spring in a sheltered, sunny position in well manured, free draining soil. Plant strawberry runners every 45cm (18") in rows spaced at 75cm (30") apart. Spread out their roots and place them in the soil at a level where the crown of the plant is just poking above the surface. Avoid planting them too deeply as this may cause them to rot.
