Fill your garden with colour! The brightly coloured bracts of Salvia Seeds 'Claryssa Mixed' are easy to grow from seed - simply direct sow into sunny borders where you want them to flower. Plants are compact, clump forming and upright bushy annuals with aromatic foliage and spikes of purple, pink and white, petal-like bracts from summer into autumn. The brightly coloured blooms of this hardy annual are superb for cutting as fresh flowers and dry well for everlasting flower displays. Ideal for cottage gardens and wildlife gardens. Best sown where they are to flower in spring. Sow 3mm (1/8in) deep in rows 30cm (12in) apart in well cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Thin out the seedlings to 15cm (6in) apart. They will grow in sun and prefer a deep rich soil but are happy on most garden soils.
