Ranunculus White is a clump forming and compact variety that produces green leaves along with cup shaped peony looking red flowers on upright stems. This Ranunculus flowers from May to June and is perfect for planting in the front of garden borders as grows to the hight of 30cm. Ranunculus are ground hardy in warmer areas and can be planted in the autumn between October and November or in the spring when the danger of frost has passed. It is easier to grow the bulbs in pots, overwatering them in a greenhouse or cold frame and bring them out in the spring. Good ventilation is required. Soak the tubers for an hour to hydrate them, then plant into well drained and fertile soil in full sun. if planting in pots ensure you put grit in the bottom of the pots and fill with a quality multipurpose compost and add some extra grit to ensure good drainage. Plant 3-5 cm deep and 6-10cm apart and grow in a sheltered position and protect from strong and cold winds. Water plants well during dry periods
