Spice up summer salads with the crisp and peppery taste of RHS AGM winning Radish ‘French Breakfast 3’. A classic variety which has stood the test of time, ‘French Breakfast’ radishes are bright pink with a white tip at the base, they have a cylindrical shape which is great for slicing as well as for snacking. Sow successively during spring and summer for a long harvest season which lasts throughout summer and into autumn. These compact plants are great for filling rows in the allotment and can also be grown in patio pots and window boxes.Sow outside from March to August. Prefers any well-drained soil in full sunshine. Choose sunny spot in the garden in pots or the vegetable patch. Dig the soil well and rake so it is nice and fine and remove any big stones. Make narrow channels in the soil scatter the seed very thinly in the row. Alternatively sow thinly in pots. Water regularly especially when it is dry. Pick as soon as you can see the tops peeking through the soil
