These pretty Polemonium have a dwarf habit, making them perfect for the front of borders and container growing. Plants form attractive clusters of violet-blue flowers with distinct golden yellow eyes, contrasted against bushy, deep green foliage. Enjoy the beautiful blooms from June to August and keep dead-heading so that plants continue to flower throughout the summer. Sow 1/16in (1.5mm) deep in good seed sowing compost from late winter to mid-summer. Germination takes 7-21 days at 20-25C (70-75F). Reducing the temperature at night aids germination. When large enough to handle transplant seedlings to boxes or 7.5cm (3in) pots, and when well grown gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions and plant out in late spring, 30cm (12in) apart in full sun and a moist well drained soil. Flowers the first season from an early sowing. Product specifications: Position: Sun or Semi-Shade Height: Up to 30cm when fully established Spread: Up to 25cm when fully established Supplied as 1x Polemonium
