Chilli Pepper 'Havana Gold' is an attractive plant produces long, golden-orange chillies with a mild heat and the distinct habanero flavour you’ll love. With thin skins and a pleasantly aromatic flavour, these chillies are great for eating raw, thinly sliced, as a garnish to spicy dishes. 'Havana Gold' ripens early on in the season, with high yields on sturdy, well-branched, bushy plants. Any surplus chillies can be preserved by drying or freezing to use later in the year. Height: 70cm (27”). Spread: 50cm (20”).Sow Chilli Pepper seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp, seed sowing mix and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place seed trays in a propagator at a temperature of 18-25C (64-77F) until after germination, which takes 7-10 days. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.
