The first purple-podded sugar snap pea! This pretty pea is the result of over 15 years of work by Oregon, USA based plant breeder, Dr. Alan Kapuler. These seeds produce fast growing plants that are easy to train on trellis or other growing supports, where the strong hyper-tendrils cling well and support the long, climbing stems. Pick your peas before they grow large to enjoy them at their best – the peas also very tasty when immature, with a sweet flavour and crisp texture.
