Sweet Horizon' came top in T&M’s technical trials over the past two years, standing well in bother summer heatwaves and autumn’s wet weather! This dwarf habit reaches just 90cm tall, making it ideal for container growing and small veg patches. Plants produce an abundance of sweet, predominantly stringless, Mangetout pods through the season from successional sowings in spring and early summer. ‘Sweet Horizon’ offers great mildew resistance and gives the longest harvest window, with plants standing well until October.Direct sow Mangetout peas outdoors from March to June, once the soil as warmed. Choose a weed-free position on moist, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Sow Mangetout seed in flat bottomed drills at a distance of 5cm (2") apart, and 4cm (1 1/2") deep.
