It’s easy to grow your own annual flowers with African Marigold Seeds 'Crackerjack Mixed'! These pretty plants will provide you with months of big, bold, double flowers in shades of orange, gold and lemon. A very early and free flowering strain, the beautiful blooms of 'Crackerjack Mixed' are borne well above the foliage for a glorious glowing display. Culinary note: the citrus tasting flowers have many uses, try them in salads, sandwiches or seafood dishes too. Sow marigold seed in spring on the surface of a good seed compost and gently firm down. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged and not exclude light as this aids germination which usually takes 7-21 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow them on in cooler conditions until large enough to plant outd
