Originating from Australia, this tender house plant brings a natural feel to the home. Lova Diversifolium, commonly known as a Lava Plant, owes its name to the lava rock it’s grown upon. The hard stone gives the plant valuable support and nutrients, and adds a decorative element to the home - each one will grow differently, making it perfect for a unique feature. Creeping rhizomes add an interesting aesthetic to the plant, producing crinkled, fern-like leaves that provide year round interest, looking wonderful as a table-top display. Place indoors in a warm/humid spot in indirect sunlight or semi-shade - do not allow it to sit in full sun. These plants take water from the container so reaches the roots; we recommend filling the tray with rainwater, about three quarters of the way full, so the porous rock will absorb it.
