Flowering from a very young age, this is a spectacular dwarf tree for patio containers, where you can enjoy its purple-blue blooms in May and June each year. The fabulous flowers are complemented by delicate, ferny foliage. Grow Jacaranda in a sheltered, sunny position in sandy, well-drained soil. This tender tree will survive a minimum temperature of -2C (28F) but is best grown in a container which can be brought into a heated greenhouse or conservatory during the winter months.
