The fabulous fronds are flat, with mature fronds becoming highly-forked and growing to an impressive size. This unique houseplant makes a magnificent hanging or wall-mounted specimen for a bright spot out of direct sunlight. In the wild, Platycerium bifurcatum grows on the branches of trees, and is best admired at eye-level. This fascinating fern holds a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit for its performance and is safe for children and pets. Height and spread: 90cm (35in). Grow Platycerium bifurcatum in a bright spot out of direct sunlight. Water by dunking in water for 10-15 minutes (less in winter), then allowing to drain. Let the soil dry out between watering.
