Undemanding and easy to grow, Phlebodium aureum 'Blue Star' is a real stunner! This indoor ferns is a fabulous houseplant, with long, tongue-shaped leaves when young, and large, deeply lobed fronds upon maturity. Safe for children and pets, the flamboyant leaves create a wonderfully abundant display for an on-trend indoor jungle effect. Native to rainforests, this pretty plant is ideal for humid rooms (such as the bathroom), in a bright spot away from direct sunlight. Maximum height and spread: 100cm (39in). Place your Blue Star Fern in a bright spot, but out of direct sunlight as this will scorch the leaves. Don’t allow the compost to dry out - water whenever the surface starts to feel dry. Phlebodium grows best in a humid environment such as a bathroom, or you can increase humidity around the plant using a pebble tray. Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested. If you believe your pet has consumed a poisonous plant then seek veterinary attention imme
