Hosta ‘Guacamole’, also known as Plantain Lily, will brighten any shady spot in your garden with its bright avocado-green leaves. This fabulous cultivar has lush, upright leaves which form a neat, dense rounded clump which provides a very long season of colour, starting from spring and lasting right through to late autumn. An added level of detail comes in summer when this plant produces upright stems bearing pretty white funnel-shaped flowers which are loved by pollinating insects. This is a useful plant for growing in a damp, shady spot. Its happy to be planted in pots, making it a great choice for a shady patio or courtyard garden.
