A stunning collection of brightly coloured Gerberas. With blooms twice the size of other hardy Gerberas these also make fantastic cut flowers. Whether planted in containers or borders you will see months of colour when they bloom from June to October. Pot up gerbera plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into their final positions. Plant gerberas outdoors in fertile, well-drained soil in sheltered, sunny borders. When growing gerbera in patio containers, use a loam based compost such as John Innes No.2. Feed and water gerbera regularly throughout the growing season. In milder parts of the UK, these Gerbera are hardy outdoors, if grown in a sheltered position and provided with winter protection during particularly cold periods.
