Geranium Hardy Summer Skies produces a profusion of ruffled mauve-pink flowers. This Geranium may look delicate but is a hardy herbaceous perennial that is tough and undemanding. This variety is not like its relations and does not self-seed so the flowers will last longer. Height: 90cm (36”). Spread: 60cm (24”). Plant hardy geraniums in a sunny or shaded position on any well drained soil. Water regularly until fully established. Remove old foliage and faded flower stems throughout the growing season to promote continuous fresh growth. In autumn, cut the foliage back completely. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure to the base of the plant in spring. Lift and divide hardy geranium plants every third year to maintain their vigour.
