Coleus come in a range of colours and look amazing if wanting to make a statement in pots, beds or borders. They can even be put in the house! These are fast-growing and comes in some gorgeous colours such as reds, purples, greens and yellows. Coleus are easy to grow and low maintenance and can withstand being in the shade. Pot up Coleus plug plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise painted nettle plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into beds, borders and containers.
