Clematis Pistachio is a real stunner! It produces masses of large Creamy-white flowers that each has a pale pistachio-green line across each petal. This attractive climber can be grown through a small tree or shrub for extra interest during the summer and autumn. They can even be trained in a conservatory to flower indoors at Christmas! Clematis Pistachio likes to be grown in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in moist fertile well-drained soil. The root-ball needs to be planted 7.5cm below soil level to encourage new shoots. Clematis do not like soil which is too wet or too dry, so to give it the best chance, mix well-rotted manure or garden compost in with the soil. If planting in a large pot or container, use soil-based compost such as John Innes No.3.
