An excellent choice for fast cover of a fence, wall or pergola, providing it is pruned regularly to sustain the plants vigour. Although Campsis are fully hardy, they will perform better when grown against a warm, sunny wall for added protection and better flowering performance. Plant into moist, but well-drained soil in a sunny position. Alternatively, grow Campsis plants in patio containers using soil based compost such as John Innes No.2, add extra grit for drainage.
